Mecsek Rallye / Pécs - Hungarian Sport Event Poster

Excellent duo-color composition advertising the first rally organized on the Mecsek hills near to Pécs city (Hungary) in 1967. In the artwork the designer represents Pécs with two of its iconic buildings: the 4 towers of the Pécs Cathedral and the old TV tower - that was standing on the Misina peak until the new tower started to operate in 1972.

The first Mecsek Rally was won by János Czira and Attila Palotai with a BMW 700 vehicle.
