Message From Space - Original Hungarian Movie Poster

Excellent composition with bold, vibrant colors for Message from Space, Kinji Fukasaku’s wonderfully extravagant space opera. Often described as Japan’s answer to Star Wars, the film is a wildly entertaining mixture of science fiction, fantasy and spectacular model effects.

Interestingly, several scenes and ideas — particularly its climactic attack on an enemy space fortress — strikingly anticipate imagery later seen in Return of the Jedi.
