We are the pioneers of space! - Original Russian Poster

A spectacular triptych by Vladimir Feklyaev celebrating the history and achievements of the Soviet space program. Across almost two metres, Feklyaev combines portraits, spacecraft and scientific imagery in his characteristic style, using vibrant colors, strong contrasts and a dynamic composition.

The left side traces the beginnings of Soviet space exploration through Konstantin Tsiolkovsky, Sergei Korolev, Yuri Gagarin, Valentina Tereshkova and Alexei Leonov’s pioneering spacewalk. At the centre, a Soyuz-type rocket rises through a huge red star, while the right side looks toward later achievements, including the Mir space station, Interkosmos, Soyuz spacecraft, satellites and space probes.

The slogan reads: “Take pride in this, Comrade! We are the pioneers of space!”
