4th of April - 1/2 Sheet Hungarian Propaganda Poster

Great minimalist 4 color geometric composition by Péter Fogas - commemorating 4th of April 1945. This was the day when Soviet troops liberated Hungary from German occupation - and occupied the country itself. In 1974 Fogas has been proposed by Andy Warhol for an exhibition in the US, but the Hungarian authorities didn't let him to send his works abroad. This particular poster was printed in 1978.
