1st of May - 1/2 Sheet Hungarian Propaganda Poster

Great minimalist poster by the great Gyula Feledy printed in 1975 for 1st of May - the International Labour Day. Eastern Bloc countries - such as Hungary - held official May Day celebrations in every town and city, during which party leaders greeted the crowds. Workers carried banners with political slogans and many companies decorated their company cars. This poster meant to be an advertisement for this celebration.
